The Liberal Club is a non-political snooker, pool and social club, wholly owned by its 98 members. It has been in existence since before the First World War. The building is quite old and one senses a feeling of history and fond memories on entering the cosy bar and snooker room.

The club remains viable due mainly to the work members put into it, without asking for payment. It has a very friendly atmosphere. If you decide to join you will soon get to know everyone and will be able to go out by yourself any night and know you will be amongst friends. The bar stocks a wide range of drinks at very reasonable prices. The most popular beers are McEwan's Export and Theakston's Bitter.

Snooker Room

The snooker room has two first class tables that are kept in excellent condition. We have five successful snooker teams, which cater for a range of abilities.Matches nights are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, It is possible to play every night any matches usually finish by 9:30. Check the calendar for availability.

The upstairs function room can be hired for special occasions or on a weekly basis for groups that meet regularly. It has a dance floor and a bar. It is home to Knutsford Operatic Society and Knutsford Brass Band.

Full membership costs only £7 a year or £3.50 for junior members. There is a £1.75 joining fee.
